| Appointment adds Capital Markets and Mining Experience to Complement Board of Directors VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- Capstone Mining Corp. (CS: TSX) is pleased to announce that Ms. Chantal Gosselin has been appointed to Capstone's board of directors, effective July 26, 2010. Ms. Gosselin is a senior mining analyst with Sun Valley Gold LLP, a precious metals focused investment fund. From May 2006 to March 2008, Ms. Gosselin was a senior mining analyst and partner of Genuity Capital Markets. Prior to joining Genuity, she held positions as a mining analyst with Haywood Securities Inc. and Dundee Securities Corporation. Between 1992 and 2000, Ms. Gosselin held various management positions for Blackhawk Mining Inc., Pan American Silver Corporation, Dynatec Mining Corporation and Aur Resources Inc. Ms. Gosselin holds a MBA in business administration from Concordia University and a BSc. in mining engineering from Laval University.
